• The Eurostars Grand Marina Hotel 5* GL, has become the first establishment to earn the hallmark "Global Security Hotel
Certification" issued by ECA Cert Certificación. This acknowledgement warrants the correct management of the facilities
and personnel of the Eurostars Hotels establishment, in compliance of the legal requisites relating to security. The
establishment has, amongst other measures, set up a new control room that, together with the new verification sustems,
represents the mastering of integral security.
• The establishment was one of the main hotels to accommodate attendants of Laureus World Sports awards, an event that is
considered the Oscars in sports. The ceremony was celebrated in the Forum Park of Barcelona on May 22nd. The winner
was the tennis player Roger Federer, currently ranked Nº1 in the world.
• The Eurostars Grand Marina Hotel 5* G.L joined in the celebration of the X Anniversary of "Proyecto Hombre Catalunya", a
NPO dedicated to treatment and prevention of drug addiction. Moreover , the organization organized a charity event that
was held on the hotel's premises on January 31st.
• Jesús Vázquez stayed at the hotelbecause of his professional commitments with the TV channel Telecinco.
